SONGLAB

Do you make up or think of your own music?  Or, are you interested in learning how songs are put together, even if they already exist as popular music pieces?  SONGLAB is a class where we learn a little about all of it and how to put various elements together to make songs!

Depending upon the student's goals, we will focus on basic theory, roles of instruments, arranging, execution, charting, and basic recording.

Materials utilized are a notebook, a pencil, a metronome, various instruments Mister Presley has at his studio, and, possibly, a computerand MIDI controller.  The student's specific interests, aspirations, age, and skill level will determine specific curriculum and pace.

Lessons are available for anyone who wants to learn ways to flesh out song ideas.

*There is not a heavy focus on audio engineering, such as plugins, mastering, et cetera.*
