The saxophone is an outstanding woodwind instrument with a distinct sound and a reputation for expression!  It is featured in classical, pop, jazz, rock, and many other styles of music.

Depending upon the student's goals, we can focus on supplement school band lessons, learning songs and melodies, or even just getting started.  In any case, we incorporate reading music, breathing, finger positions, embouchure, and caring for the instrument.

Materials utilized are a notebook, a pencil, a metronome, an Eb Alto or a Bb Tenor Saxophone, and a textbook.  The student's specific interests, aspirations, age, and skill level will determine specific books, music, and the like beyond that.

Lessons are currently available for beginners and first-year band students.
